Hi, I'm collecting gyrator circuits, and google found part of one on your site...

Gyrator Emitter-Bypass
469 x 500 pixels - 14k - gif

Unfortunately, the link was 404, your site 'search' did not find it, and the google thumbnail is too small to read...

LHS example looks like two NPN in what could be a cascode , RHS could be a complementary version with NPN stacked on PNP.

Can anyone remember more about them, or point me to an active link ?

Sorry, I can't see how to post thumbnail to forum...

Thanks,
Nik

Wow !!

That is an unusual and elegant configuration: half-way between the basic 1-tranny power-supply smoother, and the 'classic' op-amp pair.

Certainly food for thought....

D'uh, like seeing a 'long-tailed' Schmitt mutated through Eccles-Jordan into PUT-ish complementary pair-- then grafted onto a split-Darlington opto-isolator...

Thanks again,

Nik
