hello, I need a 0.02uF capacitor for my tubescreamer, but I can only find a 0.022uF one. Is this going to change much?

Hi.
No difference at all.
Top quality caps vary by +/- 10% and many are +/- 20%.

Mouser does have them though. I bought some for my active crossover project.
That said, it probably wouldn't have made any difference because of the tolerance being probably +/-5% or even 10%.
I lucked out though cause my crossover works perfecto.

If the value need is very specific, and your supplier does not carry them (anyone remember those bizarre 1.5uf and 2.7uf values in the first EPFM book?), you can always synthesize that value by combining others in parallel.  In this case, a pair of .01uf caps in parallel yields .02uf.

Of course, this assumes that when accurately measured they are both certifiably .01uf.
