New Tube Reamer-Version 2...built it?

 The good ol Reamer got a make over earlier this year.

Anyone bult it....done a comparison with the old?

I've built both...but dunno if my experience will be of any value.  I tinker a lot.

One the first version....I modded for lower gain...as per the many threads.  At one point...I had a fantastic treble booster sound...but I tinkered more & lost the mojo.  The issue I had:  I like to start my pedal chain w/a mosfet boost...and that made a clean signal bleed into the distortion too much.

I used version 2 at a gig last week...and it seemed to perform well.  But my old deaf ears were protected w/industrial foam wads....and I couldn't even hear if I was hitting bad notes!  My ax was screaming nicely...and the crowd seemed pleased.  V2 had less of the *bleed* problem.  LOTS of gain...I barely had the volume knob up a quarter turn.  Again...I tried switching between 2 resistor values for 2 drive settings...and kinda liked the ower one better...less compression.
