looking for a schematic similar to the SFX-01

Hi all,

I am looking for a schematic similar to the SFX-01 made by Seymour Duncan.  It is a clean boost with a twist.  it can beef up a single cone to 'simulate' a humbucker.  I am fully aware that only a humbucker sounds like a humbucker, but, is there such a similar schematic available somewhere?  I am basically only looking for a schematic that will beef up the sound of a single coil ( i.e. make it sound somewhat like a humbucker).

Thanks,
Stephane.

forgot to mention, here are some specs from the SFX-01:

Gain range: 6 to 25 dB
Pickup Resonance Switch: Makes a single coil sound like a vintage humbucker ("1") or high output humbucker ("2").
"1" - Resonance shift down 2-3kHz
"0" - Resonance is not affected
"2" - Resonance shifts down 3-5kHz

how does one shift down the 'resonance' by x khz?!?!?

Thanks,
Stephane.

.. a lot of smd parts.

It's a simple 3-transistor std.-booster. Instead of the 3 trannies (can be found in most Boss ODs) you can use a TL071 or similar op-amp.
Basically a OD-250 without the clipping diodes and a switchable cap-filter at the input and some minor mods on some part values.
The trannies are unknown and if you use other trannies you must calculate the new resistor values or it will distort, to me it's easier to use the IC instead. There is a thread on the German forum and a similar schem with some suggestions how to substitute the original trannie construct.
