Can you modify a 3PDT stomp to be momentary?

Has anyone ever tried to modify the blue Taiwan 3PDT's to be a momentary switch? I just took one apart and was wondering if some strategic grinding and maybe a spring could make it work.

What's the point?  The whole thing about momentary switches is you use them, via some additional circuitry, to do multiple switching (if that's what you want).  It's cheaper to just buy a simple push to make momentary switch and a few logic chips/relays.

Even if you don't want the switching to be latching, it's still cheaper doing the above than modifying a 3PDT....well, if you do your own designs.

I just that I need one quick and I already have the 3PDT's. Otherwise I would just order one from SmallBear. Thanks!
