My 9v+ is connected to the "red wire" marking.
Can someone tell me how I should wire the input jack ring and tip?

EDIT: I connected the 9v+ to the board and the input jack ring, so it works now.

one question though, I have to put my amp way up to hear anything and the effect isn' t that
noticable, any thoughts?
And does it make sense to wire the npn boost in the circuit?
Where should I do this?

kind regards, graan

hmm... fuzz is NOTICABLE, at least it should be... check to make sure the transistors are oriented correctly(common mistake)
dead battery?(common mistake)
if that doesn't work i'd post the voltages and then somone with a better understanding can deduce whats wrong from the voltage info...
thats the usual procedure of fuzz debugging i've seen here...
btw... i've make all the common mistakes and still doo!! :-\ but once its working right i think your gonna love it!!! in the stadium of distortion, the fuzz face sits in the front row!!!
nothing says forever like a solid block of liquid nails!!!
