Blend/Mix pot???

Hi all.
Im new here and i have my first question! Hopefully someone can help me out here!
Is it possible to wire a mix/blend function like this?



its supposed to be in a loop/swichbox im building!
Can it be done like this or how could i solve this, because i don´t get it quite right.
Do i need a "buffer stage" or something!?

I suspect buffers are called for.  It would be nice if it worked properly, but my sense is that there isn't nearly enough separating the signal being sent out to FX loop from the signal coming back.  Heaven forbid they be out of phase with each other in some manner.

www.runoffgroove.com Splitter-Blend project. Just hardwire one of the channels. Or build it stock and connect with a short cable, the extra feature of two effects loops might come in handy some day.

what do you mean with hardwire one of the channels? just put a cable between send and return to get rid of one of the loopchannels??
