Forum vibe question

I built the forum vibe with the mods. Like a dumbass I first hooked up the chorus and vibrato to power instead of the power. After reversing this it still works!! My question is the vibrato is pretty weak but you can hear it on high speed. It is also alot louder than the chorus mode but the chorus mode is pretty nice. Just wondering if I should replace some of the 2n5088s or is this normal behavior for this vibe? Thanks..

Try audio probing the circuit...see if there is a place where the signal cuts way down when set to chorus (relative to the vibrato setting).  You could have damaged a transistor by that misconnection....I'd think they'd be similar in volume level (or semi-close), and that the vibrato would be well-defined...
I haven't built it, so can't give you the definite answer about how it behaves.
