I need to change the footswitch in the channel switching pedal of my marshall. What is the right one? What is a momentary footswitch?

Bernardduur

A switch that does not latch (as in stays "on")

When you press it, it switches, when you release it, it goes back to the original state

It isn't the right beaviour for an amp switching. Right?

Is it a good choice? http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=28

Nope... I don't know the amp; if it asks for momentary switches, add them, but if it only asks for a switch then adding a momentary switch will only allow you to switch channels when you press it.

I don't know the switch you asks for (but it is good that it is not momentary)... I only use SPDT switches for this feature or DPDT when a LED is involved
