I bought a Small Clone off ebay that has been tinkered with. Do any of you have one of these and might be willing to take a picture or 2 of the inside wiring so that I can see what a "stock" one looks like?

This pedal was listed as working, but it came to me as a "buffer" pedal.   :(   No chorus, just a footswitch activated LED. Not exactly what I was looking for.   :D

I opened it up to find the usual botched up soldering inside.   >:(

Anyway, the pot has been replaced. I haven't checked its value to see if it's right or not.

I've cleaned up most of the solder joints & replaced a few wires that were too short now. The switching circuit is rather unique to me. Nothing like Boss or Ibanez. I jumpered the drain & source of the switching FET to get the pedal to work, so it's on all the time now. So, I've at least proven that all the IC's are good. It actually is a pretty good sounding pedal. I didn't spend much time with it, but I was surprised by the range of useable sounds it has.

I was hoping to confirm that the wiring to the switch is stock by seeing another example of one of these. I think the FET is bad. I ran out of time last night, so I'll check it tonight.

The depth switch seems to work the opposite of what I would expect it to. The deeper setting is down, not up. I'm wondering if that is normal or if they turned the switch around when they re-assembled.

Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Grace and peace,

Steve
