so i was poking around on wikipedia and i found this.  wikipedia is awesome by the way.

kind of neat though i know most of you have function generators and such, but i dont, and i know there are probably a few others too.

I don't have one either, fs.  If you have a sound editing program, you can also make a CD of different test waves.  I made one recently so my setup could be a little more portable.  Sine's, ramps, squares, sweeps, noise, etc.  I thought about adding guitar samples to it, but never did.  Unfortunately, it's not easy to share something like that, so I didn't mention it.  My hope is that we'll have a cheap µC version soon, in a 1590b.   :)

freak scene

yes i downloaded a couple of free programs too.  but i figured this would get some people started without having to download any programs.  just burn this onto a cd about 100 times hah.
