Crash Sync with LDR question

Wow, weird question:

I have build a Crash Sync with a LDR in the 100k position; I mounted the LDR under a "lens" so I can adjust the "pitch" of the Crash Sync with my feet (letting more or less light in the LDR). I works great: with my feet removed (aka light) the circuit will produce a high pitch and with my feet on the LDR (aka dark) it will lower.

Is there a way to reverse this? Thus light will produce a low pitch and dark will produce a high pitch?

Now, why didn't I think of using a LDR?  :icon_rolleyes:
I must try it.

It is really cool BTW; but it would be "nicer" to me when the effect was reversed

I'm not sure if it will work, but try searching Google for dark dependent switch, that might give you some leads.
I love the smell of solder in the morning.

I just thought of something...not sure if/how it will work....I've got the idea from the MCmeat env section (up/down sweep)...I'm wondering if wiring the mounted LDR (in series???) with an Led (thats goes to V+ ...????),that in turn affects another LDR where the original pot was....I was just thinking of how the McMEat works in down mode....so the mounted LDR,in darkness, sends the led bright, thus making the internal LDR get the high pitch sound, and vice versa....
Again,I've no idea if it'll work

if hank reynolds approach did not work, you could offer me some key words to search goole for some answers.  i am interested in this idea.
