Ibanez HD 1500 rack mount, can I use parts?

Hello This is my first post here. I am very interested in learning how to make some of the stomps I hear about. Right now I am particularly interested in making a Ross w/mods - Keely type compressor. Can I pilage some of the parts from an old Ibanez Harmonic Delay HD 1500? Are all the parts I might need there? Sorry if this is a ingnorant question but I am new at this.
