overload gigboard with cry baby

I've modded gcb95 with 3pdt switch and led blue (high intensity) but if wah is off the gigboard go in overload.
why?

Did you wire a resistor in series with the LED? Sounds like the LED is sucking too much power.

Maybe you need a bigger resistor if you already have one. I have a 1k5 in mine and I'm sure I could go up to around 3k and still keep the LED fairly bright.
