Here are a few new pedal shells I've been working on. The knobs are just placed on the enclosures to see how they would look. There are no holes drilled, it depends on what circuit and layout you use. These are pretty large knobs as well. Most of the enclosures with two knobs here can handle three smaller knobs etc etc.

The sloped enclosures were cut by Chadd Hamilton who posts here. He did the rough woork and I rounded and finished them. The Square boxes I did myself. I'm selling these as I've been mainly making amps of late.

This one has an antiqued type finish of a walnut hull stain and sanding through to the bare wood then polished.

This one was made from black walnut and red oak strips. The "Cutting Board"

This is a unique one made of "spalted" ash ( Spalting is any wood that gets a neat color when it get close to rotting...)

Lye stained cherry wood. Lye chemically stains some tannin rich woods.

Cherry and oak sides.

Cherry and black walnut sides. This one is pretty big, the knobs are one inch across.

If you are interested in any of these please let me know. I have some tweed covered pedals as well.

Yeah, the spalted one is very neat. I've only seen spalted Maple before. It's a pretty hard process. Basically spalting is accomplished when the wood gets wet and starts to rot. The tannins in the wood discolor and you get these black, brown and grey colors mixed in with the tan color of the wood. Spalted maple gets black as well. It's a fine line between getting something nice looking and getting a rotten and crumbly piece of wood. Wild!

Very nice, but they're way to beautiful for stomping on.
