Hi, im pretty new at the DIY pedals thing, i'm hoping to start the Begginers project soon (awaiting parts)

In the mean time, ive got enough bits to build a channel switcher. But basically i dont know how  :-\

can it be done like this?

Help is greatly appreciated... thanks alot in advance, Jim

The Tone God

There is no standard for channel switching so it depends on the amp in question. Most mordern amp schematics have the schematic for the footswitch on them.

SPST looks ok but depending on your amp, the LED might start working backwards. That means, you'll have to find out if "channel 2" is triggered when the lugs are connected or when they're open.

And beware, alot of amps today use momentary switches, others have the LED in series with the switch, powered by the amp.

E-mail the company and ask for a schem.

Cheers guys, that helps alot.  :-*

Also i found this on the web  ;) http://plosiveelectronics.com/Products/DualTrebleBooster.htm

And i was wondering if anyone had any schems or PCB layouts for it. Obviously its a may treble boost and a VOX boost in one box, but im unsure of how he's wired it so that they both use the same tone knob.  ??? . Also i havent a clue about how he's wired the on/off and the channel switches.

Any help appreciated...saves starting a new thread if i post it here.  ::)
