i want to use the tone god's rock n control to control a 3 pole pot. i understand how to get the resistance and taper  I want out of the control but i dont know what value the other resistors and trim pots should be. i dont know how to post a link, but the article is on Andrew the tone gods website under rock n' control. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Tone God

Hello and if it hasn't been said already Welcome to the Forum. :)

The reasons I left those values out is that it really depends on the LED you are using.

Quote from: The ArticleR3, R4: Current limiting resistor for the LED.

You will have to use Ohm's Law to calculate this value based on the max. current the LED can handle. For Trim 1 and 2 you can also calculate for that but I think I was lazy and just used 100K trim pots.

R5 and Trim 3 depend on what value you are going to use for Pot 1. You can use an arbitrary value for R5 as it is there to prevent shorting. Maybe 1K or in that space. I think I used 100K trim pot once again as that is what I had lying around and used for the other trims.

Good luck.

Andrew
