Just got a massive order in from Futurlec, they've always been great for me
-no rehashing of opinions please.

Part of it was to test out their caps.
All good.

The "mylar" are standard grennies-brownies in this case, identical to those from DSE accept only 9c each thats Austalian = Us 7c
The "polyester film" are Wima box style 20c each= US 15c

The only surprise was the size of the Mylar 1ufs. Haven't seen any like this before. They're tiny, the orange ones in the photo. I've put them beside the box caps and some Mylar .22uf s for comparison.

Anyone have any info or experience with this type?

Heres a pic

Based in Beijing....
How did the transaction go, were you happy with them?

They were really great, I got the stuff right on time, all the values are correct, etc.  Really happy, I'll buy more for sure if I run out.

I got 100 mylar caps pack from Banzai and my 1uF caps are HUUUUUUGGGGEEE. They are about 3cm wide, imposible to use in stompbox. I don't know why they put 250V rated caps  ???

Well, they do state that it's a pack of "common values", but nothing said about the voltage rating. ;)

You could stick into a BB box, put a footswitch on it, jacks on the sides and call it "THE CAP" ;D

They look very similar to the resin dipped ceramics of that value that I use for decoupling sometimes.

Sorry, need to clarify. I wanted to know the V rating of the "baby" 1uf caps. Toney?
