I guess this is sort of a general encloure layout / lead dress question - I'm a beginner at stompbox diy but I've built a few pedals now and I'm trying to get a feel for how to arrange things.

Specifically, I'm planning the enclosure layout for the BSIAB II in a Small Bear BB box

I wanted to have the switch, in/out jacks, LED and dc jack all in the bottom half of the box - is this a good idea or should the switch be more isolated (i.e. for increasing potential for hum etc) ?

This layout plan is strictly cosmetic - it was looking a bit too jammed up at the top with jacks and pots all together

Thanks

Jeff,

The switch is no more susceptible to hum than the other components you mount. You're okay mounting those as you described.

thanks - i just finished and it seems to work with no debugging !
