hey i'd like to add the resonance switch from teh idiot wah to a colorsound inductorless wah.

but where the IW has two 500k resistors in series the CSW has one 5M7 resistor. why is there such a big difference and what is the purpose of these resistors? i think if i understand this i will know how to add the resonance switch.

i would also like to add the LDR circuit (switchable) of the Photon filter. but i also noticed the Photon Filter uses some different component values in the wah circuit too, has this something to do with the LDR control or is it just to get a different sound?

Replace the 33k to ground with a 50K pot. Lots of resonance there!
It will oscillate like a "foot theremin" if you want it to.

i was planning to do that. but i didn't know it would have the same effect as the resonance switch in the idiot wah

I'm not sure how it compares to the Idiot wah...I haven't built that one yet. But the Colorsound wah gets everything from a mild wah Q/resonance to a wild super spike in the EQ with the variable pot in place of the 33K to ground.
