i've read the technology of wahs on geofex and i am making a multiple wah filter setup.

there is just one question left. what happens if 2 wahs in series use the same variable resistance to ground?
imagine an idiot wah and a colorsound wah hooked up to the same LDR for example. would this give any problems? i hope not or i'll have to come up with a difficult switching circuit so it's not possible that both circuits use the same variable resistance to ground.

oh and i will try a couple of different wahs. the Colorsound Twin-t wah and Dr Quack. got any other good ideas?

Quotewould this give any problems?
quick answer: yes
(problematic, when in use at the same time, with both effects powered)

no problem, when both FX got their own LDR, which are "enlightened" by
only one LED/bulb

ok thats a problem. it means i'm limited in my choices and my switching lay-out will be a lot harder to do.

or is it possible to make sure this isn't problematic? like 1n4007 or shottky in series with the variable resistance to ground on both wahs? then the current can go only from the circuit to the pot/ldr/whatever and not to the othe circuit because the diode only let the current trough in one direction. right?

so i have maybe 3 or more wah circuits.
and i have an LFO, an envelope control, a wah pot and an LDR.

i wanted to put a 4-way rotary switch on every wah circuit to choose between the controls. but this means i can have LFO selected on more than one wah circuit at the same time.

if i use a patch bay this can not happen because if i put the LFO wire in the wah 1 jack. i can not put the LDR or other wire in there. there has to be a way to do this with switches but i'm a bit stuck right now. think with me please.

i'm gonna go for the patch bay. any good sounding wah circuits i can put in it?
i'm already gonna use the filter parts of a colorsound inductorless, dr quack and gargler. any other/better ideas?
