bass fuzz picks up a radio station?!

Hmm, has anyone else had this problem?
It's not shielded yet and it was just being tested but the interference was so great that you could hardly hear the guitar through it, although it sounded like the fuzz was working. I'm in sydney, perhaps it's just a local station which has an insanely strong transmitter

You can't tell until you test it in metal enclosure (or plastic with shielding)
