Rebote Delay 2.5 Problem: Very, Very Quiet...

Hi (first post). Need a little help here...I just put together a Rebote delay using the tonepad PCB. I used the 11k resistor for infinite repeats and replaced the hard-to-find 51pF and 5pF caps with 47pF and 4.7pF caps respectively. Oh yes, it's running off a battery. Anyway, it *works*, it's just very quiet (low signal). I tried a different level pot, a different IC (even tried a NE5532), a second PT2399. It's still very, very quiet.

Anybody have any idea what could be wrong (or where I should be looking for the problem)?

Thanks.

Try running it off a regulated power supply before you try anything else. If still no go; search Rebote 2.5 on this site. There is alot of info there.
Best of luck!

This just in... Search PT80 volume drop. These delays are similar; so maybe you want to check out that thread. Very interesting...
