So I ordered a resistor pack from here, and they're pretty good.  I saw this place sells inductors too, and I was wondering how good the values are for effects projects.  Link:

Those inductors are all far too small in value, for a wah. You need more like 500mH,, biggest there is more like 1mH!!

if they can handle it, inductors can be used to filter psu's...

I think these may be similar to those at Radio Shack.
Either way, it's still kind of a crap shoot :-\
