I don't think I've ever seen copper knobs. Other than making your own the closest thing to getting a metal that will rust or oxidize is aluminum. You can etch them with ferric chloride as with the aluminum/zinc boxes and copper PCBs.
It's fairly simple work to make knobs if you have access to a machine shop or someone who can help you. Any machinists out there want to make some custom knobs?
I'm sure Paul is tired of hearing about knobs by now.

Outstanding job. You could look for those really old radios knobs and stick them on it. It would look ond school.  ;D

Actually, I had a thought to use wooden dowels to do something similar. This guy beat me to it!  :icon_lol:

EDIT: Actually, mine would have to be a little more elaborate than that. Those are just too plain for my liking...  :icon_wink:

Yeah, and he shields his enclosures exactly the same way that I do! Cheap, but effective...  :icon_wink:

That really looks great Paul. But let me ask you this..... WHAT THE HECK DO YOU DO FOR FUN!!!!
