hi folks,
another poppin´question here...my small clone pops only the first time it is engaged after the whole setup is powered on...after that, you can turn it on and off and on and off endlessly without any pop...what gives ??
cheers,

I think I can help ya here,
As I understand it, the input cap's charge leaks on to the switch of your effect when off for a period of time,
Once switched on, this current zap feeds into the audio signal and becomes a loud pop.
Placing a resistor (usually 1M) between the input and ground helps to drain the cap's charge to ground
instead of letting it settle into the switch where it is destined to become a pop once the switch is engaged.
I just added a 1M resistor like this to my Mosfet Boost and, sure enough, no more pop!
It was doing the same routine as your Small Clone is.
Hope this helps,
