Anyone can explain me the difference between this 3 type of wah inductor?  :icon_eek:

Red is a touch clearer than Yellow IIUC, and Halo isn't available from this site.
I put in a Yellow Fasel and report it's sound in my modded 847 is great.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

search the forum for alot of info about inductors...

I like a Halo... www.arielfx.com has the best IMHO.

The Banzai Halo is VERY VERY thin and crappy.  It doesn't sound like a halo should IMHO.  It is only 13ohms and is very bright and thin...

I have heard the Yellow fasel Aron sells is fantastic..

I tried one of them and i thought there was something wrong with it, sounding so significantly thinner than my fulltone.
Then i found that it sounded better with a larger value in the "mid" resistor, which added some fatness.

I finally got to keep it and i have it on my wah, switchable through a DPDT.
I can use it because i have a variable mid control in my wah.

The other side of the switch still has the fulltone on, which is the best IMHO.

i wouldn't quite recommend the banzai inductor. It's (along with other things about them) too much promise but less truth...  :icon_rolleyes:

I've tried all three and IMHO ArielFX Halo is hands down the winner!

More details here and here (in spanish, sorry!  ::) )

So, between Red and Yellow FASEL, who is closer to an HALO?
I have a broken Crybaby and I want to make a McCoy. I see a picture of a McCoy Replica with a Red FASEL...  :icon_rolleyes:

NEITHER, fasels don't sound like halo inductors. If you really want to approach the sound of a McCoy you'll have to sport the extra dough
to buy a halo inductor and not a fasel, otherwise you won't even come close to that tone.
