Hi!
I've built this beast some months ago.. i'm in love with it and i'd like to use this pedal as a preamp.. so ..
now the switch turns on or off the unit.. i have to modify the whole thing to switch to a lower gain and obtain a clean preamp (a sort of green channel)..

..which would be the best solution to this problem ? (probably switchin' something inside the circuit could be to noisy...)

Just bypass stages 2 & 3 and see what happens. It wouldn't be that hard but probably would cause some noise and a huge volume difference.

Yeah it could be an idea.. i was thinkin' to put a resistor in parallel to the gain pot e connect one of them to ground with the switch.. but it would probably POP.....

Why don't you A/B dr boogey with some clean preamp?

the fact is that i like the dr boogie clean sound, how it sounds at low gain ..
i dont wanna run it into a clean preamp.. i'd like to use it as a preamp before my power amp

I didn't say run it into clean preamp, A/B it with clean preamp. When it's on then boogey is in chain, when off other preamp is in chain.
If you like boogey clean you can A/B just gain pot. Use 2PDT stomp switch (3PDT if you need indicator LED) and wire 2 gain pots (lugs 1 and 2 from each go to switch, lug 3 to ground). I think it should work
