Has anyone built this circuit before or by looking at this schem.[http://members.shaw.ca/roma/vibrato.html] can you tell if it will work as is?

It is just a weak phaser shifter. If you want that type of effect you would be better off building just about any common phase shifter circuit used here and disconnecting the mixing stage ala. Univibe's vibrato function. About only interesting thing about that circuit is he is using a phase shift sine generator which is no big deal to do.

Thanks tone god, by the way I havent given up on the bullitt. I just got frustrated and had to set it aside for awhile. On a more positive note. I would like to comment  on just the audio section. What a kicking overdrive pedal, with just two  tubes a 12 volt power supply and  no opamps. I That makes it a worth while build in itself.

No prob. Sometimes you have to take a break to see things clearly. I spent a couple days trying to get a bus system working only to trace the problem down to my breadboard having breaks in two contact strips. Ugh.

Glad you like it thus far. :) I hope you get the tremolo working as it will be even cooler sounding.

Donald:

Is that one of "Laurier's Handy-Dandy Circuits"?  Don't count on it working.  I tried breadboarding several of those and could not get any of them to work -- even his headphone amp.  I don't consider them verified, but that's my opinion.

build an mxr phase 45 and add the vibrato switch instead. it's great also on organs and keyboard!

That's my feelings, too.

Thats why I had to ask, I dont know enough to tell the difference and I have already had  bad luck with one of them. On another note I wish somebody besides me would build the bullitt so I can understand what I  did wrong. Thats the first tube circuit I have built and it has a lot of promise. I just packed the oscilator circuit  back into the case and am  playing through it. I also did the phase 90 mods and have that swirly factor happening. I am going to do the 500 k pot mod. and build a new case for it.
