Hi everyone and thank you for all the things I have learnt the past few months from this forum.

Last days I was  trying to build a bsiabii, but I'm not happy with the end result.
Here is my readings(GGG)

Battery : 9.16V

Q1 D: 4.74 (4.5)
     S: 0.82 (0.95)
     G: 0 (0)

Q2 D: 8.46 (8.0)
     S: 4.74 (4.5)
     G: 2.83 (3.8)

Q3 D: 4.35 (4.3)
     S: 0.08 (0.75)
     G: 0  (0.3)

Q4 D: 8.16 (8.0)
     S: 4.35 (4.3)
     G: 2.82 (3.8)

Q5 D: 4.08 (3.4)
     S: 1.16 (0.9)
     G: 0 (0.5)
PCB from GGG's layout,no substitutions.

It has sound but not much gain and not so musical distortion, nothing like the clips I have heard.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

The voltages on the gates of Q2 and Q4 should be close to 4.5V. I don't see a problem with the other voltage readings.

Maybe like a 1k or something low instead of a 1M in R5 and R12 pulling your gates down?  My first BSIABII had low level but sounded great like AC/DC.  The second one I built was "right".  But I want them both! ;)  Let us know if you fix it!  I really think this is a great pedal and definitely worth having.

Thanks Doug and Sta63bmx.
I replaced R5,R4,R11,R12 with 470k resistors and the gates went to 3.4 volts.Still low.
i checked again the previous resistors and they were all 1M.
I'm gona check everything again and i 'll let you know.
Thanks.
