Gus's NPN Boost, having a trimpot bias resistor rather than a fixed one?

What would be an advantage of having say a 25k trimpot as a bias rather than a fixed 10k in Gus's NPN boost circuit?

  Haven't tried, cant' absolutely say.
  Probably not a whole lot, as long as the transistor is biased, unless you're looking to get a misbias, there would be more 'effective' places to use a pot.
