Help: Fuzz effect for a Hammond-style organ?

So there is the "problem":
My girlfriend owns a Hammond copy organ (which works without tonewheels). We got the idea to fuzz up its sound like some artist in the late 60's (Bodkin, Trikolon, Aardvark, etc...)
Would you recommend me a good fuzz pedal which will work on organ?

I tried my Lava Rim 2 in a built-in feedback loop. In that case the feedback loop acts a bit like an wet/dry pot. It works but I want something that's a little bit more articulated with organ...

Could you help me?

Try a tubescreamer! It'll give ya that midrange honk. (something like deep purple) Won't sound exactly like a leslie though, the sound you're talking about is an overdriven leslie amp(I think), but will imitate the tube grind and boost the mids thereby approximating (somewhat) the muted horns that give the leslie its characteristic tone. A fuzz might just sound synthy, not organic enough.

Ok. Thank You. I'll give it a try.

Will it work as well when playing chords?

Meanderthal

 Sure will!

The tubescreamer won't muddy up chords at all. Think SRV.

I actually had a casio getting that grind this way! Sounded VERY deep purple! Lotsa fun!

Sorry, my girlfriend is a property of mine...  ;)
(And I bet you won't come to Hungary to get her.)

I got the idea. I will build a tubescreamer.
Thx!

I think you should try a Rat.
This seems to be a classic effect for organ.

Never thought of that ramblin. Could be an excellent choice! Plenty of grind, nice and tight... I can dig it.
