Just thought I'd put this post here for when someone comes looking for a sound sample of the above effects.
Anyone needs some Jet-engine treatment, build the UltraFlanger and a Dr Boogie or something. DO IT, DO IT NOW!  :D
That Lofo is wacked out, but it can be tastefull too.
The Roctave has not received enough appraise! It is the only octave-down device anyone should consider building.
A tip with octave downs: to avoid the 'wobble' effect you get when you play near the top of the board, try to pluck the string half-way between the pressed fret and the bridge.

Racedriver,
Any problems (ticking, noise, etc.) with your UltraFlanger? I'm going to have mine done in the next few days and was wondering.

Thanks,

Thanks for those.  The Ultraflanger does not seem to have as much sweep as I'd like or had hoped for, but it works and tht's nice to know.  Now I can happily rededicate myself to the one I haveN,t been able to get working just yet.

The Rocktave is capable of much subtler octave sounds than you demoed, but I think the sample shows off the tracking very nicely, so thanks for that.  Good advice, too. :icon_wink:

The Lofo sounds like a street parade with a Javanese gamelan orchestra being played through a bad cell phone into a walkie-talkie.   :icon_lol:  I'm still not sure I know what the Lofo sounds like!

Despite the noise in the sample, and little sense of how it sounds at slower speeds, the responsiveness and especially the decelleration on the Penfold dynamic trem is quite pleasing.  Seems like a nice little project worth looking into.

I think you've done your community service for the day! :icon_biggrin:

Yeah, sorry bout the link. Web1000 is absolutely cr@p, and they delete your website periodically for some insane reason. Ill get a new site soon and correct all my links.
