posting pictures and pedal sounds

some one please tell me how to post pics and sound samples.Ive looked  ,but i guess Ive not looked in the right places   thanks

You have to have your own web space to host pics/sound clips.
There are several free hosting services
or perhaps your ISP account comes with a personal home page.
Once your media is available on a net server use
the "Insert Image" and "Insert Hyper-link" buttons above.
Copy and paste the address (hyper link) of the pic into the brackets.

Perhaps this is a good time to start a discussion about pic sizes.
It would be nice if large resolution pics where resampled to bandwidth and screen
freindly sizes. For example some images posted here are huge.
I would recomend 640 pixels by 480 pixels be
the largest pics posted (at 72 dpi - screen resolution). Thats still quite large.
I like 480 x 320 as a nice medium size. Small would be something like 320 x 240 pixels.
The newer digital cameras are capable of outputing very
large pixels resolution and some even output 180dpi in
jpeg format, calling for even more diligence
when preping images for posting.

As a rule of thumb... if you have to horizontaly scroll your posted pic, its too large.
