Gday, im going to make a dr boogey box today.

1) When printing the PCB layout how do you know it is the right size? like so the printer dosnt resize it...dose it matter that much?

2) I got a PCB kit and the instructions are vague, i think it means to draw the circiut onto the copper with a perminate marker, and then etch, is this correct?

3) Anybody know if jaycar (Australia) will have the J201 transistors?

Thanks

Good luck with it, lliw.
1) I've heard that Internet Explorer resizes images, so I would use something else. (Picture Viewer, maybe?) Anyway, I'd print it out on regular paper first. You can gauge the size of the print by using a piece of perf board to see if the transistor holes line up. If you're using my PCB, it's designed in actual size so it should print out the same.
2) Yes, you draw on the copper board using the permanent marker, then etch. However, for the best results, most people (including me) use PNP (Press 'n Peel) Blue sheets. You print out the image on the PNP Blue sheet (dull side), then iron it on to the copper, then etch.
FYI: my PCBs are designed to be used with PNP blue sheets, so you need to reverse the image otherwise. Since there's no IC's in the layout, you should be able to get by either way.
3) Don't know.

Thanks mate ill give it a go.
