I got a rat shack LM741 today for a mxr dist+ clone. The package says "digital IC" on the front. I assume it's just an error on radio shack's part, them lumping all of their IC's together in a generic package, but i was just wondering if i had my definition of "analog" and "digital" mixed up. It is just a regular-old lm741....

anyone care to comment??

Perhaps it was sold in an anti-static pack and it's this pack that has 'digital IC' on it?  Most of my chips come this way, regardless of what they are.  It's cheaper to buy one load of packaging and use it for everything...

I've used the RS 741 and yes,
It's just a regular old LM741 IC....sounds great in that circuit!
