i want to have an enclusure with the wah guts, switch, and pots to control the q, bass/gain, mid, volume, and sweep (LED would be nice to)....(ive got this part figured out)

and i want to have a "expression" pedal type of thing going on. (its just a one off, i know it saves more room to keep it all in a shell, but i want to do this for the hell of it.)

anyways, how can i wire up the whole expression pedal thing? i know there would be the input, expression input, and output, but how do i do it?

thanx!

You just need a wah type rocker pedal with the pot installed. Run the wires from the pot to a single jack. Connect both units with a short cable and use a switching jack so you can use a sweep knob on the box with the guts but still use the rocker pedal when you want to do the foot controlled wah thing. Basically need all the parts for a wah plus an additional box for the remote guts...I'd stick with a wha enclosure since you only need a few pots. Get the small 16mm posts and that should be no problem to mount them along the side of a typical wah...
