Two more Ruby questions...sorry.

1) Where does the negative battery lead go?  On the schematic at ROG it shows where the positive lead belongs but not the negative.  Am I right in assuming that it goes to ground?

2) Also, is it possible to power the Ruby with a DC jack as you would other pedals?

Thanks again.

1.) The negative lead of the battery is connected to ground

2.) Yep, though I've got no idea how much power the thing consumes

You can wire the power section up just like a standard stompbox. Use the standard 2.1mm dc jack/stereo input jack scheme.

More details here: http://beavisaudio.com/techpages/PedalPower/

If you use a AC adaptor, you can theoretically run it up to 12 volts if you are using the LM386 N1 or N3 chip. In my experience, 12 volts really does not sound good.

Please do not serve the Ruby schematic from other sites.  Please just link to runoffgroove.com instead.

Okay, sorry.  I just put the picture of the schematic up like I do when I post pictures in the "pictures" thread.  I didn't know that was a no no.  Again, sorry.
