I've just picked up a ds-1 and was looking to get in there to get some more gain and i can't find a schematic for the new version anywhere.  I used the search function and all the websites that were in threads are no longer... :(

Anyone have one?

no one can help?  I even tried the wayback machine on those defunct pages.

I believe the only ones are at Godikssen.net ( not spelt correctly) and tonepad.com. the TP one is similar to the former, but wiht a few small changes.

I have found some pics off the internet  of the PCB and now I'm trying to construct a schematic. But it could be a very long time before anything comes out. I doubt if it will ever happen, but I'll try. ;D

The elektroda.net one looks like it.  I'll have to print it to make sure.  All the other layouts i found did not match up, some were only transistors w/o an IC.  Maybe they were just the actual circuit itself w/o the bypass circuit.  Mine has 8 transistors, the schematic only shows 6 but gives part numbers for 8.  Weird.

As for the mods, i've already checked a ton of pages.  My main goal is to get more distortion which it looks like i'll be able to do.  This is the only non-boutique (or boutique priced) pedal i've found that sounds good on bass.  I had a green russian muff before that sounded damn good but the reissue russian sounded like mud and the NYC one was really trebly and splatty.  I also had a Budda that sounded frickin amazing but both were stolen :(  so now i am here to mod this one to my taste.  The $40 price tag wasn't bad either!  I'm guessing that the 2SC2240s are replaceable with the standard 2N5088s.
