Hi there! :icon_mrgreen:

Its my first post, and my first project...

I'm building an A/B Loop box (a one stomp loop 1, other stomp loop 2 kind of thing). I,ve read that in order to prevent unwanted noise from the channel not being used I have to ground it. My problem is that I end up needing an extra pole to enlight the LED.

This is my wiring diagram for the 3PDT:

I would like to know if there is an "easy" way to add the LED......keep in mind that I'm a newbie :icon_biggrin:

Thanks :icon_exclaim:

I think he wants to ground the unused inputs too... but I don't know if you really have to do that

Exactly Super Geo, I've read that if you put "Hi-Gain" effects in the loop and its not grounded it can make some noise when bypassed.

To quote one of them, see varialbender comment.

For Dosmun and Newbie Builder, thats a simple loop diagram (ment for a DPDT switch), I want to select between two different loops with one switch. My diagram achieve that but I'm missing the LED.

I'm not 100% sure about the Millenium Bypass (no offense R.G. you're my electronics teacher :icon_wink:) so I tought of another way.
Can I use a Relay (like the one used on the Boss True Bypass Circuit) to "add poles" to my 3PDT?....I'll explain that.

I can use a 3PDT Switch and a DPDT Relay in this way:

3PDT Switch:

(Pole 1) ---> Controls if the input goes to loop 1 or 2
(Pole 2) ---> Grounds the unused input
(Pole 3) ---> Controls the coil of the relay (say with a 9V battery or something)

DPDT Relay:

(Pole 1) ---> Connect the Output to the proper return of the loops
(Pole 2) ---> Powers the LED

Well...did anyone tryied this?...should it work?

Thanks :icon_biggrin:
