whythisreason?

Hi all,

Are there any brands of solder you'd like to recommend?
I started out in DIY with just about any 60/40 rosin core solder I could find,
but I've had some serious "rotten" solder experiences with some of them.
I've had solder wich sizzles and sputters like there's water in the core instead of rosin.
Or stuff that wouldn't flow and just form cruddy pudding that would take ages to cool.
I've even ruined some projects with such disasterous solder, overheating my components.

Anyway, be warned... sometimes your skills are ok,but the core is rotten!

Ever since I started using EDSYN 0.8mm lead/halogen free solder my work
became much better. It flows perfect, solidifies quick and it's not to thick in diameter.
(hell, it's even enviromental friendly... :^)

Any other brands worth mentioning to check out?
