Is it okay to use 24 gauge(solid) speaker wire to go between PCB and pots?

I've got a spool of 24 Gauge Solid(2 Cond.)Polarized speaker wire, would there be any negative effect in using this to connect the pots and jacks in my DIY fuzzbox to the PCB?

You can use it.

If you nick the copper wire when stripping it, the wire is then forever prone to breaking at the nick. And solid wires are prone to breaking right at solder joints. But some people passionately demand the solid wire's ability to stay where it's put. Just don't wiggle them around after they're soldered.

... or allow any vibration to get to them...

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
