Ross Compressor Problem - YMRCQ (yet more Ross Comp Questions!)

Interestingly there seems to be several Ross Comps posts about recently lol.  I'm not getting anything through the circuit at all.  Done the usual checks, cap polarities, resistor values, solder between tracks, transistor orientation, swapped the IC out etc.

Using a ca3080ae.  Only change I've made is that I've put a 1k resistor next to R15 going to before the track break, and another 1k going from the same track as before but going to the other side of the track break (next to R17), these are instead of the trimpot.  Is this right, or the source of my problem?

Also, the only IC / Transistor coltages posted seem to be on fuzzcentral which is unreachable.  Anyone have what they should be?

I built one of these too last night and it didn't work....until I discovered that the middle lug of the volume pot went  (I've temporarily just bridged the signal directly to output past the the volume pot)
