Does anyone have pcb layouts and parts placements for the paralooper project? Moosapotamus (or however that's spelled!)  has been down for some time and I really need this project. Please help.

Try SeanM's B.Blender instead.  It does pretty much the same thing:

Hey - Thanks for the schematic. In reality, I really suck at trying to adapt anything from a schemo. PCB layouts and detailed diagrams are the only way that I can do anything presently. So, I still search for someone who has the details on the Paralooper project.
Thanks

Here's a link to Gaussmarkov's perf layout for the BBlender:

Also, here's a link to bcreekmur's vero layout for the Paralooper:

You really should try using the search to look for stuff as it's mostly all been done before...

Good luck,

Hi,

I've been looking for a DIY BOSS LS-2 like stompbox but needed just one effect loop and found the paralooper that interresting that I built one.

I'm guitar player  :icon_biggrin:, so my concern is not keeping the bass low end, but keeping the guitar dynamic  :icon_twisted:.

I  was really disappointed with multi effects for guitar , espacially mine (a Korg ax1000g) good sounding, but swallowing all the dynamics of my distortion stack (BOSS MT-2 +Marshall Drive Master)  :icon_confused:, so an effect loop mixer would be the proper answer.

The paralooper has a low pass filter on the 'dry' channel that makes my guitar sounding as with its tone pot down with no treeble.
Because I found the 'wet' channel with nothing plugged more transparent, I modified my paralooper and transposed the C4-R5-C6-R7 of the 'wet' to the 'dry' channel instead of the R6-C5 low pass filter.

The result is better to my taste, but slightly brighter and louder and missing some low end.

How could I have a 'dry' channel as transparent as possible ? And how my modification (which filtering aspects ?) alters the original sound ?

Many thanks in advance, moosopotamus site is great. :icon_razz:

You might try leaving out C5 and replacing R6 with a jumper. See the BBlender link in hairyandy's post, above.
