Fixing my AD-9

Hi all,
I have an Ibanez AD-9 reissue, and it worked fine until one day I decided to mess with the trimpots.  I ended up breaking the knob off one of them (I swear it was cheaply made, though it was probably my fault), so I ordered another 10k trimpot and soldered it in there.  The trimmer was the one that is in the middle of the board, not around the edges (there are four).

Anyhow, after I've installed this new trimpot, the delay sounds very dirty, (much more than it did before), the effect is quiet even with the "effect volume" knob all the way up, and no matter where I set the trimpots I cannot get it to self-oscillate.

I'm wondering if any of you can tell me where to start on this.  Since the power was on when I broke the trimpot, if it was the bias trimpot, do you think I fried a transistor or something?  The new trimpot seems to do nothing no matter where I turn it...could this indicate that whatever it's controlling is messed up?

Also, if any of you would just rather fix this than try to tell me how to, I'd gladly pay for it, so please reply or PM.  I do have a multimeter / soldering iron and stuff though so if I had to replace parts or check voltages and stuff I could probably do it if some of you could walk me through it.  Thanks!
