I decided to go ahead and add another inductor in my wah from this:

Instead of using a toggle to switch between them I thought about a foot switch dpdt instead so I dont have to bend over. Now I thought how great it would be if I had another led that came on when this new inductor was being used. I already have 1 led that comes on when the wah is in use. But what about another different colored led tht tells you that the other inductor is being used once you click the switch? How would I wire this?    Maybe a 3pdt?

Any ideas based on this layout?

I think the first question is, "do you need to change the inductor while playing?"

In any case, that layout shows two inductors which are alternately selected with a DPDT. You could leave one side of both coils always attached and eliminate the need for one pole of the switch. Now, that 2nd pole is free for your indicator selection. You could use a 3PDT too.

When you switch LEDs and each is a different color, you're also probably going to want to switch the current limiting resistor in series with the LED. I hope this picture explains it better than the text I was trying to create. ;)

PS: I changed the original pic above into a link to the pic because J.D. has requested that files on his site not get spliced into html from other sites.  It's about bandwidth and the number of views that this forum can generate.
