I'm still trying to tweak the Neovibe using trimmers for the wet/dry mix at R35, R36.  The first bulb was 12V, 50mA and did not want to bias (barely got a flicker when maxing the trimmer).  The trimmers now seem at an optimum point and the effect now biases using a 1.5V, 25mA bulb (still can't find a 12V, 25mA).  The problem now is that the onset and release of the effect is too sudden almost to the point that it thuds like a heartbeat.  The intensity and speed and LDR positioning doesn't seem to change the symptom either.

Is it possible that the low lamp voltage has create this unwanted sound?
