Hi, just finished a Rebote 2.5 (1:30 A.M.  :icon_mrgreen: luckily i don´t have to work tomorrow). Some comments:

I replaced parts:
- all 510K R for 470K
- all 240K R for 220K
- all 24K R for 22K
- all 51pF for 47 pF
- all 5 pF for 4.7 pF
- all .027 uF for .022 uF
The original values aren´t available in my country, that´s why I replaced them. And it works! I was concerned about something or other not working, but... i guess the "if it´s within 10 % it´ll work" rule given to us by The Gods (or was it R.G.?  :icon_mrgreen: :icon_mrgreen:) is true.

But not everything went smoothly....

Fired it up, and no sound, just hummmmm... Oh my god, the 2399 chip doesn´t work (VERY expensive here)!!!!  I wasted 50$! Or is it the TL072 (changed it for another one)? Maybe the ground isn´t well connected (resoldered the wire)... OK, calm down, take some voltage readings... let´s see the 5V regulator... 0,5 V on the outside!!!! what the...??? Maybe the battery is dead... nope, 9,5V... Oh, those value changes must have blown up something... sh*t, I´ll have to recheck every component I changed values to.... and on, and on....

Wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Easy, easy boy.....
Start your debugging at the beginning. And that means at the beginning!!! Step by step!
- Is guitar putting out sound?
- Is amp putting out sound?
- Is connection between guitar /FX / amp working (cables)?
- Are connections to/from PCB working?
AHA!!!!!!!  I was using alligator clips that I bought today to connect pots, 9v, gnd and in and out to the board. Three of them were defective, didn´t pass signal!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAARGH!!
SO (lesson for myself):

Always check EVERY part of the signal chain, not just what you think is the obvious possible problem area. :icon_rolleyes: and keep a cool head!  :icon_redface:
Yes, it´s a great FX!!
Now I can go to bed happy  :icon_cool:

Nice! Mine had a weird problem with one of the pots because I used ones that I could mount directly to the board and couldn't find a 25k, so I ran a 50k with a 50k resistor in parallel, but it had some really annoying short that left the delay on the fastest time. After I fixed that, I fell in love with the delay.

And holy shit... $50 for a PT2399??? I paid like $3 for 2 on ebay.

Is that a plastic washing basket?

Maybe his currency is different? I hope so!

Congrats!
I hope his currency is different too.
Of course, he may have meant $.50 and if he did.....we're all bummin'!!

Morocotopo

That´s 50 argentine pesos, close to U$S 20. You paid U$S 3 for the PT2399???? Send me a dozen!!!!!!!  :o
Goddamed import duties, taxes  and all....

On the other hand, I recently got a few MN3007 for $ 16 (U$S 5) each, I think you pay more for them... hehehehe...
Around here (Argentina) some things are not considered vintage or prized, the market is not as developed, they are just "old stock I have to get rid of" items at the stores.
