So I saw the layout for the DO, and saw that except for the clipping diodes, it could be done on a Tubescreamer GGG PCB.  If I was to modify a current production tubescreamer to Landgraff specs, which model would you recommend?

I think the Landgraff is closest to the TS-808 so that might be your best bet. I'm not sure how easy the 808 is to modify though. I just modified my homebuilt 808 clone that had a buildyourownclone.com board and it was very easy. The mod made one of my least favorite pedals one of my most favorite- I really dig the Landgraff. Great pedal imho.

Do you know where I could find schems for the current production tubescreamers so I could find out for sure?

the TS9DX is the best for a landgraff then you can have the various modes just like the DX has, on the four position switch. Those tack on toggle switches are a little takky :)
