Guyatone VT-3 Tremolo Gain (not vol) adjustment?

Does anyone know what resitor(?) is responsible for the amount of gain that is present in this pedal? There is a slight grit behind the tremolo that helps give the pedal a tube amp-ish sound and I'm interested in playing around with increasing/decreasing the amount of that overdrive.
